Fully tailored to your exact needs

Offering outpatient &  residential procedures

AIM Neuromodulation provide two treatment pathways. One is the more conventional outpatient treatment, the other the residential programme. The former follows a traditional model for application of TMS, with patients attending the clinic in Weston-super-Mare for daily treatments. These visits can be tailored to the requirements of the patient, but typically there are five treatments a week. As the unit is staffed 24/7, then treatments can be given at times to suit the patient, for example in the evening, and weekend treatments are also possible. Part of the package of care, will include the availability for follow-up outpatient treatments, typically one session each week or fortnight for around 5 sessions.

The residential programme is tailored to the needs of the patient. The admission to the unit will typically run to 2 or 3 weeks, this enabling the patient to undergo a medicated detoxification followed by the TMS treatment. Some patients will then elect to stay at Broadway Lodge, in order to engage in ongoing residential rehabilitation (this may be for a number of weeks or even months) whereas other patients will leave after this two or three week period, and engage in the conventional outpatient follow-up treatment sessions.

Financial matters

Flexible options for your treatment program

The cost of the TMS treatment, will depend upon the nature of patient’s addiction and type of treatment required. For example, if somebody is currently fully alcohol dependent, then before the TMS treatment can be used, they will need to undergo a medical detoxification. This will require them to be admitted for a period of time and receive medication before the TMS treatment can be safely used. Depending on the nature of the alcohol dependency, they may require a total stay of two or three weeks. A residential programme including detoxification followed by TMS will of course attract a much higher cost than the “basic” outpatient TMS.

An approximate cost of the outpatient treatment, that is, a block of 10 treatments will be £….. A two-week residential programme, that is, including medicated detoxification followed by 10 TMS sessions will be approximately £…. A more complex addiction requiring a three week stay, still including 10 TMS sessions will be £…. If an individual chooses to stay in Broadway Lodge on the go traditional period of residential rehabilitation, and this costs approximately £… a week. If following any of these types of treatment a person wishes to engage in “top up” TMS sessions, weekly or fortnightly, this will cost £… per session.
